Lifetime Warranty

At Lemur, we believe in the quality of the materials we have handpicked and the durability of our production processes. We design our products to be by your side for a very long time. Nothing gives us more joy than to know our costumers continue to use their Lemur products independently of when they were purchased.

That is why every Lemur product comes with a Lifetime Warranty. If your Lemur product ever fails due to a defect in the materials or from the production process, we will fix it. If it cannot be fixed, we will replace it for you. Forever.

What is covered?

Our Lifetime Warranty covers failures in materials and manufacturing under normal, everyday use. This includes:

  • Hardware failure: Broken snaps or detached rivets.
  • Manufacturing defects: Unraveling cuts or structural failures.
  • Material defects: Uncharacteristic tearing or degradation of materials under normal use.

What happens if a product breaks?

Our first priority will always be to repair the item, honoring the history and character it has built with your unique usage. If we determine the product is beyond repair, we will replace it with the same item. If your original item has been discontinued, we will replace it with a comparable product of equal value.

What is not covered?

While we design and manufacture our products to last, they are not indestructible. This warranty exists to protect you against material and manufacturing flaws, but it does not cover:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Full-grain vegetable tanned leather is a beautiful, natural material that evolves over time. Scratches, scuffs, natural softening, color shifts and the development of a unique patina are expected and celebrated. They are not considered defects.
  • Misuse or Neglect: Damage caused by extreme conditions, overloading, severe abrasions, or lack of proper leather care (such as water damage or heat warping).
  • Accidents and Cosmetic Damage: Spills, stains, or color transfer from other objects.
  • Third-Party Alterations: Any modifications or repairs performed by someone other than Lemur will void this warranty.
  • Loss or Theft: We cannot replace items that you no longer possess.

(Please note: Lemur reserves the right to evaluate all warranty claims and determine, at our sole discretion, whether the damage is covered by our policy.)

How to Make a Claim

If your Lemur accessory needs some love, we are here to help.

  1. Email us: Send a message to contact@lemurdesign.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim: [Your Order Number]".
  2. Show us the issue: Include 2-3 clear photos showing the defect, along with a brief description of what happened.
  3. Wait for our review: We will assess your claim within 2-3 business days and follow up with instructions on how to send your item to our studio.

Shipping costs: If the claim is approved under our warranty, we will cover the cost of shipping the item both to us and back to you. In case of a replacement, we will also cover the shipping costs.
